I want to stay up, but I simply CAN'T. I've cancelled my eye appointment and taking myself back to bed. Taken some Sudafed, as my eardrums are so bloody painful. See you all on the other side.
I'm not sure if I am too blame if you're feeling that bad - I'm just generally woozy & knackered, but otherwise able to function 'normally' i.e. drive to work & back & get everything done in the meantime. I don't think there'd be that much of a difference in effects unless scrobbling around a dusty warehouse significantly boots one's immune system!
It sounds to me like 'con crud', as we regular convention-goers refer to it. Generally happens when you suddenly get exposed to lots of different people and their germs all at once, when you're not used to it (and I bet the air-conditioning didn't help). It's awful, but it will pass - you're doing the right things. Decongestants if you're blocked, painkillers if things hurt, and keep hydrated! *hugs*
Yes, and the train was over air-conditioned too, so I doubt it was Tigg, it was probably the guy on the train sitting in front of me who slept all the way there.
I was only joking, - as Aunty said, it was probably the air conditioning (which my body is NOT used to, even when I was working) which could have blown germs from anywhere in the library - or the train, which was over air coniditioned too.
Oh dear - that's how mine started. I may have contracted it before Sunday, actually, so I may have given it to you - because I was SOOOOO thirsty on Sunday on the way home and my throat was burning, so I probably already had it.

I think I'm about to become the next casualty, unless someone has ACTUALLY been sandpapering my throat from the inside. :(
