not so bleurghk
Sep. 18th, 2010 03:56 pmI feel much better this afternoon. Still wheezing like a train, takes me five minutes to climb the stairs, my lungs sound like I’m growing crisps in them and I sound like a German Torch Singer (“Fallin’ In Lurve Again….”) but I actually feel a little bit human.
On Monday I shall pick up my tools and start to BLOODY WORK again. Or else.
TV I’ve been watching. Spoilers under the cuts, probably.
Entourage: It’s all going a bit Pete Tong (and about time too, in my opinion.) I found it quite implausible that Vince was remaining such a nice guy in such a venal cess pool – and that he’d eventually turn on his friends. It’s taken enough seasons to do it though. However, I’m worried for him.
True Blood Finale. An excellent finale, I thought. It left a lot of questions up in the air, which is how it should be—Tara’s driven off, Lafayette is starting on something new, Jason’s getting a brain (although how he’s avoiding getting arrested is beyond me) Sookie’s fluttered off and I have to say I was quite sad to see the way Talbot eventually met his final end. It reminded me a lot of the vampire’s demise in Witches Abroad. Vampires have arisen from death by sunlight, staking and the light, but none have risen from death by cat waste disposal.
Merlin. A promising start. I know that in order to be KING Arthur, something has to happen to Anthony Stewart Head but I’m not ready to let him go just yet. The CGI is less than convincing, but I suppose kids don’t care. Is it me or are they deliberately playing up the slash? Was it just a coincidence they started discussing Merlin’s bottom five seconds in?
Flashpoint—discovered this show tucked away in the middle of the night on an obscure channel (ITV3) and I’m enjoying it. Not only is it about a NICE Swat Team (they are Canadians, so they don’t agree with killing people unless they can help it) but Malthesar from Galaxy Quest is in it. I love him. I’ve joined in half way through season one so I need to go back and catch up, if I can.
White Collar – Hugely enjoyable and still mildly slashy. I don’t think there’s one character I dislike even though the plot gives me a headache at times.
Yes, I watch too much TV, but I’ve had little choice, especially recently.

*me trying to speak but couldn't*
V scary..especially the constant burning thing.
TB: I haven't started watching the next series yet. I've only started recording it on Thursday...so haven't read your comments above. :)
Sorry I've been AWOL. Nightshift and Bejewelled does that to me atm. But...Dave got me Mario for the Wii for me BDay. \o/ I haven't had time to try it yet but I'll get there.
Will be watching the new Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, True Blood, continuing to cry at X-Factor and experimenting with buckets of blackberries and elderberries. :)
Have you seen the chocolate Weetabix advert? Loving the lil Geordie/Mackem hamster (think it's a hamster).
