Adopt one today! - Adopt one today! - Adopt one today! - Adopt one today! - Adopt one today!

I have a disturbing urge to write a really over the top schmoopy regency romance (gay, still) and call it something like “The General’s Bartered Subaltern Lover” or something.

Come up with a more suitable but still as outrageous title, and I just might.

The Beleagued Generalissimo's Ruined Camp Follower.

Given how it's looking so far, I don't know that I'd be brave enough to try & make it my first sale! I'd get myself the wrong sort of reputation...

I'm giggling over all of these.

SPECIALLY THE STENTORIAN LOVE SLAVE.

"I'M SORRY!" he bellowed, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

Also, you KNOW that the Stentorian Love Slave is totally a screamer.

The Bombastic Baron's Virgin Valet? Oh no, I think you should stick with yours.

I vote we each take one of Gehayi's titles and do an anthology!

*pouts* I wanted to do that one.

It would have had time travel - and vampires. Got to keep with the Vs.

Who would be the vampire, the viscount or the Viking?

I figure you need some explosive Russians in there.
Cossacks are reputedly pretty, erm, rowdy.)
I picked out ranks that are fairly understandable in English, but it didn't come out looking particularly Russian after all.
Also, a curse is always a good one to have for plot purposes. Also, I suspect that anybody with a Cossack Grenadier may feel soundly cursed.

Reading through the comments I think the only conclusion is that we should pool resources & write a series between us.

After all, didn't some writing prize just get won by a comic novel?
