Bored bored bored. This week has been endless.

I freely admit that until yesterday I had never heard of this Anna Nicole person. I thought I had, I thought it was the bimbo who makes those programmes with the Hilton girl, but I don't think it is. You can see how 'Sleb aware I am... *gets back under rock* Ug.

Am biting the bullet this weekend, and am sending Transgressions out to publishers. I've been trying to snag an agent for a while with no success, so I'll blunder on agentless for now. Or perhaps I should wait until the first quarter so I've got some figures to give them. I don't know. Gah. Writing=good. Selling=irritating.

Creative writing class was interesting - we had to write a 100 word review on the homework we did. For those of you interested enough I'll post both later, but I can't trust the lj cuts posting from google docs and rwday is not around to tidy my mess up! The homework we have to do over half term is just made for me *bounce* it's "write one sonnet praising your writing to the skies and another sonnet slagging yourself off"

I'm going to have fun with that, yes indeedy. No-one knows how to self abuse like a English person.

The girl you are thinking of is Nicole Richie...who is well is in the same class as Anna Nicole.

Anna Nicole was Playmate of the Year in 1993 and did this reality show for E a couple of months ago. I think the uproar over this is because 5 months ago her daughter was born, 20 year old son died in the room visiting his mom and newborn half sister and now baby girl has no mom nor a borther. Weird and very sad. Anna Nicole also went all the way to the Supreme Court to fight for her very rich, very much older late husband fortune which in an ironic turn both her and the main family member she was fighting with over the money are dead now.

This is a tabloid dream...and sad. She was a very pretty in her own way, somewhat dumb, born dirt poor girl that has come to a very sad ending after everything else.

Waiting for sales figures might be worth it, though I can definitely understand the urge to get the book to publishers as soon as possible. Best of luck whichever way you decide. :)

Wow - yes, that is a nice piece on ANS. Tells me everything I needed to know - saved me a fortune on Sleb mags and time watching crap!
