Young Severus Pix. I'm in love. And in prison, probably

Half cut and watching the bobsleigh. We are fifth - only three quarters of a second behind the leaders. amazing.

I was chatting to folks tonight at class and we were all in agreement that we now rarely go to the Times Supplement or to any newspaper, magazine or even internet review site. Amazon has made it easy for us - it tells us what we might like, in many (and fuck off clever ways) and we rely on it. I admit it - I don't have to search around romance websites in the pathetic hope that I might find 1. m/m 2. m/m historical and 3. something good.

Amazon tells me where the same books are as mine, or where the books are that I've tagged. For people like me, hunting for the hard to find, it's a real boon.

What amused me though... Standish was lumped together as perfect partners with "Ransom" by Lee Rowan on the USA site. Fair enoughski.

However, on the UK site, it was (rather excitingly) Perfect Partners with Brokeback Mountain. I know this means nothing, but it's enough to make me squee. (thanks to [livejournal.com profile] enolabloodygay for this)

At the moment, however, it's Perfect Partners with "Light before Day" by Christopher Rice. No, I hadn't heard of him either. So I clicked on the book. And he's ANNE RICE'S son.

God. Go to bed, erastes, go to bed. My trouble is, if I'm up by midnight, I'm a Part-ee animal..

We all need a little trash sometimes. *hugs my few Chris Rice books* I didn't know he was Anne Rice's son, though. That caught me off-guard. @.@
