Mar. 23rd, 2007 03:59 pmWell, them 300 Spartans have taught me something.
I always thought to speak laconically meant - to speak like Jimmy Stewart, you know, all drawly and slow. Seems not! I've been using the word wrongly for years.
Not just useful for their Abs then. :)
And does Gerald Butler bellow all through the film? *Dies of the submissive squeee.*
Sadly I have to go and see "I Want Candy" before I get to max out on testosterone. blech.

Date: 2007-03-24 04:10 am (UTC)funny/disturbing anecdote: i went to see 300--or 'zoo' as my friends, émile and andrea thought it was called--with my friend, naomi. she was so excited by all the manly men in the movie that i had to tell her not to wet herself (let's ignore what was happening to me :P ). after the movie, as we were chatting about our favourite parts, she told me about that scene where one of the men gets decapitated, and i quote: 'damn! those guys are so hot! you know i'd do that headless guy. his body was still hot. you just have to cover his neck!'
