erastesThings to make me go mmmmmmmmm......
1. Standish went from 60,000 on amazon.uk to 2,000 and back up to number 4 on the gay list, when it had dropped out the top 100 yesterday. Don't have a clue what happened there. Someone must have bought a copy. The mighty "The Back Passage" has been at number 1 for ages, and WELL DONE JAMES!! I'm so pleased for him, he's such a sweetie, and the book deserves the recog, because it's unique.
2. I won TWO writing competitions today!! one for a sonnet (HERE ) and one for a 50 word story (HERE ) not humungous prizes - £10 book tokens for each one, but going on a word count that's the best money I've ever earned - 20 pence a word. And more info for the CV! And hubba! Book tokens!
3. 10 new EAA members in one day!
4. Ordering the next 3 Sandman books from the Library, and then learning (from Gehayi) about the Sir Apropos of Nothing books by Peter David and immediately ordering them ALL. BOOKS!!!! I'm obsessed at the moment, it's like a sickness.
