I had been tempted to do a website of purely m/m book reviews because I hadn't found one anywhere, despite extensive searching, but I knew in my heart of hearts that I didn't have the time to dedicate to it. So I was very pleased when I found THIS wonderful m/m review site - and am looking forward to discovering all these m/m books I haven't even HEARD of!

Whee!

At the library last night I got Night Watch by Pratchett (can't find my copy and I'm working my way through the Guards Books), The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova (a completely random shelf grab but gehayi says she really enjoyed it), Dead Man in Deptford by Guy Burgess (about Kit Marlowe, I doubt there will be any gay sex in it, sadly, or at least, nothing juicy), 120 days of Sodom by de Sade (OMG how bloody DULL, read about 20 pages of it yesterday and gah! Way to make sex boring, Sade, darling,) and Wilt in Nowhere by Tom Sharpe - havent read a Wilt book for many many years.

I'm pretty happy about the New Companion News on Dr Who. I liked that character and at least HOPEFULLY we'll be spared yet another companion (in the new series) who is unrequitedly in LURVE with the Doctor because that's getting pretty tired, pretty damned quickly. But come on - when so we get a male companion please????
