Thank you for all your good wishes - I had a card from Elisa and was in the hall opening it, and there's his little Hitler face peering around the door frame. After five minutes of hugging and kissing I put him down again.

He's clean, well fed but very hungry. He's also tired.  I can't IMAGINE where he's been.

*clings to him*

Next week he gets a safety collar and an identity chip.

grrrr!!!  Fancy causing me all that worry!  And you lot, too!

And thanks for the card, Elisa!

Azkaban?

*hug*

I'm SO glad he made it back home to you safely!

That little tart! *castigates him*

I bet he's doing what our Willum did - they're probably blogging at his other gaff about how little 'Tinky winky' or whatever they call him is missing again.

Seriously, glad he's back.

Willum...

Not by any chance named after the media star of fabled memory: Pussycat Willum? (see icon)

hoooooooray!!!!!!

I can imagine him carrying an empty beer bottle, and blowing a tatty squeaker with a feather on it, the dirty little stop-out.

Great news!

That wouldn't surprise me, although with him it would be a bottle of Dom Perignon and a big cavalier hat with a fevver in it.

Perhaps he got locked inside someone's shed or something.

He seems too glossy and well fed for that to be the case, but he is very hungry.

I am SO glad he's back. I remember when my first cat disappeared for a week. To this day I still don't know where she ran off to, but she came back and acted as though everything was perfectly fine after we gave her a lot of loving.

Oh yes, and I agree with the safety collar and identity chip idea. Those are wonderful inventions!

I'm so glad he's back! Sounds like he'd just been to see the world, if he was clean and fed (even if not recently), and presumably not traumatised (eg by being locked up). If he's going to be a wanderer, that definitely makes ID a hot priority! Maybe some more recent photos too, for ID if nothing else?

Bad, bad cat. No spankings for you.

I was worried about Lucius.

Off at a Death Eater orgy, maybe?

This is why my kittehs don't go outside - my nerves can't handle it!

Kiss him for me!

Sally

Oh, thank goodness. If he's clean and well fed, he's been off lollygagging round someone else's place. And if hungry and tired, said place is not in your immediate vicinity, so I'd suggest getting the ID collar ASAP, and chipping him ASAP too. (I realise that those two ASAPs may not coincide if your work prevents you getting him to a vet!)

Anyway, if he looks properly repentant for causing you so much distress, you may give him an ear scritch from me.

It's a big relief. I shall worry every time he goes out in future, but he shows no interest in going out at all, and he was UBER clingy all night. I think he really really missed me.

I wish the technology was already in place that the chips had DPS in them. It'll come I guess.

I'm so glad! Maybe he hitched a ride in the back of someones truck/pickup/lorry, had a wild fling in new pastures, and it took a while to get back.

I don't remember whether this possibility was already covered and/or dismissed, but he was probably far enough away that they'll never find him to serve the paternity suits.

Date: 2007-11-13 07:36 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] erastes.livejournal.com
He doesn't have the *cough* equipment for paternity suits, thank goodness!

I think he was held against his will, to be honest, he's well fed, but he was SO pleased to be home - last night he just wouldn't get out of my arms.

Glad he is home! And the card arrive so quickly! Sorry for the handwriting, I have made some error but I have only that one which I like to send you, so I have not changed it. It remind me of my city, we have almost all the streets with arcades and during Christmas they seems all more beautiful. Ciao, Elisa

It's awful when they disappear completely, it's worse than knowing that they've been killed. *hugs*

Thank you!
