Sometimes.

Yesterday there was a version of  he Weakest Link and all the contestants were Children's TV Puppets.  *dies of the giggles*  I've never heard Ann be so nice!

I'm cold, and I haven't written a word of my book or any short stories (and god alone knows I have enough of them) in the 9 days I've had off. I suck.

I finally watched the Hogfather TV Special thingy and I have to say I was a bit disappointed.  Oh it was very good, characterisation was marvellous etc etc, the special effects amazing but it just left me cold, and rather ... bored.  I wonder if I only knew what was going on because I had read the book, and whether a person who had no knowledge of the Discworld would understand what the blazes was going on. Susan was exactly how Susan should be, but then I've always hated and despised Susan right from the very begininng, uptight, pompous anti-fun loving COW that she is. Teatime was brilliant, but then I love everything Warren does.

I'm off to wrap myself in a blanket and feed this small white foghorn before my ears start to bleed.

Haven't read Hogfather yet. I'll have to get it from Amazon because the bookstore has apparently decided not to have it. At least not with the right sort of cover that matches the other covers. It bothers me that the artist died and I haven't even remotely come that far in the series yet.

I can't really remember what I thought of Susan when introduced to her in Soul Music. I just remember that it took me a LONG time to get into the story. I think I just find her a fairly boring character.

Yes, I think she's boring too, to be honest. I think Terry must like her - but he likes the hideous child in his kid's books too and I loathe her with a deadly loathing.

I haven't read Hogfather but I saw the film, series thingy this week for the first time. I like it but I didn't have any/many expectations. I'm reading Guards!Guards! just now and really enjoying it.

Oh the Guard series is definitely the best, I can sort of understand why they did Hogfather because it's based in one place for a large part of it, and therefore easier to do and cheaper, but hells bells I'd love to see the Guards series done (with Sean Bean as Vimes. Gotta be Sean.)

When I was reading the Hogfather, I actually pictured Susan as way cooler than this (and less prettier), so I was "..." when I saw snippets of the TV special.
I just like how she manhandles the children *coughs*

Teatime _is_ awesome though.

Yes you are right, less wooden and less attractive. She was far too nice with the children in this, that's for sure. almost soppy.

I adored Nev. I'd never even seen him before but he was soo cute.

I've not written anything in...can't remember how long but I've a hefty 3 long days ahead then the joy of 5 off! I should manage at least 100 words over that time, lol.

Ahahah, the small white foghorn! *pets*

Did you watch JKR earlier? I tried not to and then weakened half way through as my finger accidentally twitched during Von Ryan's Express, lol.

I love Nev - he was on Saturday morning tv and he's gone now. *sniff * I miss him. :) I would have liked Gordon but as he only says "squeak" that could be a bit awkward.

I watched the first five minutes of JKR - was nearly sick with the sanctimoniousness of it and turned over sharpish.

I saw Nev this afternoon! Aw, his lil ripped jumper. (Yeah, you guessed already...I typed humper there, *hides face*) I adored Gordon too! :D I agree squeak is quite monosyllabic but he was fucking cute with it.

Yep, JKR. I managed to turn over when all the crying started when she revisited her old flat where she wrote the first Potter stuff. I wonder if I'll ever read her books :/
