that people will say that they didn't like it, and that the script was not what they expected and blah blah blah but I loved TORCHWOOD from the top of its little head to the bottom of its biker boots. Man snoggage, time agents in military gear, James Marsters dressed like Adam Ant and Gwen nearly snuffing it. What's not to like?

The music was a tad intrusive but OMG everything else was gorgeous. Ianto! IANTO!!! "I'll do this floor, I don't want you getting over-excited."

And using the Stopwatch!

Captain John will be back!

Good, wasn't it? James Marsters is slurpable. Even without the bleach.

Iantooo! With the eye-rolling! And the response to Jack! I even liked Gwen when she wasn't making moon-eyes at Jack. :)

I really don't see what he sees in her. Bulgy eyed idiot.

I loved the whole "You were the wife," "no - you were the wife." "no - YOU were the wife." "oh, but i was a GOOD wife..."

Oh, I adored. Utterly adored.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Loved Ianto's behaviour - and the "I came back for you.... ALL of you"

Yeah, right.

Remember the very first episode? Where he said "I'm not doing that again."?

Is this Season 2 you're all talking about? We've only had S1 here so far. Sounds intriguing.

I've shipped Jack/Ianto since about halfway through the last series. They're so darling!

Ianto is now seriously cool :) Did you see the trailer for next week?

Gwen: It's the end of the world!
Owen: Lets all have sex!
Ianto: And I thought the end of the world couldn't get any worse.

LOL! I rarely have an OTP where it's text not subtext but I think I'm going to have to make an exception.

I have the horrible feeling that this programme might turn out to be actually quite good at some point. *g* Some lovely snarky dialogue and Ianto was great. At one point the eldest and I both shouted, simultaneously, "Stopwatch!"

I just saw it - I liked it. I mean, it wasn't fraught with meaning and high significance, but it was loads of fun, and James Marsters was great - I hope he comes back.
