problem with star wars ii pc game

Has anyone else had this problem?  I don't know why I got the pc game, by accident i think.  I'm literally about three minutes into the first level and Leia is refusing to walk right around the grated floor walkway, she just runs on the spot as if there's an invisible wall there...
