I haven't written today but I DO have a good excuse. I got the edit for "Hard & Fast" which needs doing immediately as it's being released on 1st June. So I have been doing that instead. Generally not my favorite thing; I just hadn't realized interests were a factor in who's allowed to join that community.

Interests are never a factor. However I always check everyone's LJ who asks to join. I check date of birth primarily, and In doing so I always land on their recent entries page before I click on "profile"

As I said, they have explicit art of bestiality on their LJ. When it comes down to it, I'm the director of the EAA, and I'm the one who chooses who joins - no matter what branch. So - as I disapprove of bestiality, that's my decision.

Ah, always nice when the exes are friendless... I actually ordered the Shakespeare book from Amazon for the kiddies, they're getting the manga versions too. Not too bad since I can get them to read the original as well.

Yeesh. I live in a major metropolis and you don't see horses around too much, but I believe we just must have a better class of horses or maybe they're just more discerning. I think I'm going to put tin foil on my head and go live in my own little world now. Eep. Scary.

Since bestiality is one of the things you can get busted for in the US (you'll find most reputable publishers specificially excluding scat, underage sex, and bestiality from their submissions guidelines) it seems reasonable to me to set those same limits on EAA. After all, the servers are in the US and there's no point in opening up the LJ community for a takedown.) I'm an animal lover myself, but not to that extent!

I recently checked one of those "See Who's Looking For YOU!" sites and found that my ex is looking for me. Creepy. I feel like asking someone far, far away to forward him a note saying "Dear Schmuck: I left for a reason. The reason is still valid. Bugger off." (30 years of being ignored--isn't that a good and sufficient hint?)

Oh - I didn't know there were manga versions. I don't think they are a bad thing - we had the Lamb stories, after all, and they were panned by the experts in their day.
