Grumpy today.  I'm being irritated in ways that I don't wish to blog about.

However - I'm getting a little sick of FitzChivalry ("woe is meeee, I'm all alllllooooooooneee.) Farseer. Stop fucking moaning will you? You've just done just about everything you can do to drive everyone away and all you do is WHINE about it? Are you 15? No. You're over 35!  Suck it up!

And that'll teach me to keep up to date with Speak Its Name. I had to add about 40 titles to The List today and I'm coded out. I wish I'd kept a track of how many there are, but there are LOTS.  I've decided to use Troll numbering. LOTS. (that's a many many)  But thanks to all who gave me suggestions, it's great to see how many titles there were I didn't know of. I am having to realise that I don't think I'll ever read them all in my lifetime. Keep 'em coming!  I'm particularly after gay historical graphic novels now, as I only have one listed so far, and another to list later today.

Ah, you reminded me about graphic novels. I still have to review Gerard et Jacques and Lovers in the Night for SiN like I promised you. *twiddles thumbs* Not sure how to review the second manga since it's really nothing more than

Have you ever run across Desert Peach? It's a wonderful series of comics about Rommel's apocryphal gay brother. Inspired by a shade of paint and begun in a humorous vein, it turned into a really deep, thoughtful series. I don't read many comics/graphic novels/what-have-you, but these are really excellent, and probably one of the earliest gay historical gn's.
