I've blogged over at the Lovely Lust Bites today, on their Friday Smut Spot with TWO excerpts of "Chiaroscuro" - the story of Michel di Posco, a talented but indentured artist who is being taken advantage of by his patron.  He is ordered to paint a commission for the mysterious Signora Guildeccia; a portrait of Yuri, a man so beautiful that Michel can hardly believe his eyes.  I'll be giving away a copy to one commenter, to be announced on Sunday.

Then later today the Authors of Aspen Mountain Press are featured at Romance Excerpts Only Yahoo Group, where there are bound to be lots of other giveaways as well as Night Moves 1, so it's certainly worth joining, even if it's just for the day.

You! (because I thought of you when I began) I have finally began to watch Brideshead Revisited. I am in shock, and awe. Fantastic. Somehow reminded me of you!

Oh hurrah, isn't it wonderful?

I am NOT liking the look of the new film (even though they make the Charles/Sebastian relationship much more obvious. I think you can't beat the tv series.

I am staring at it going OMG HOW CAN PEOPLE NOT SEE THE SLASH. THE LOVELY GLORIOUS SLASH.

On the other hand, having been to boy's boarding school (so lucky) I can pretyt much draw the line between "normal male bonding" and "OMG THE SLASH"

New movie - unsure. Seems more obvious, but 2 hours??? HOW?

I haven't seen the TV series OR the movie, but would love to see both. I loved the novel (& I remember the slash being fairly clear in the original, before I knew what "slash" meant). I remember this line (paraphrased from memory): "Sebastian's sister Julia, like all other young ladies of her class, wore a felt cloche hat with an arrow-shaped diamond hatpin." Apparently no other titfer would suit.

If you mention reviews of Night Moves when you blog, remember that a fairly long one (over 1K) by me will be posted here for 1 month, starting Aug 1: www.eroticarevealed.com.
Someone (naming no names) was squicked by the cover, and asked me if it really represents the contents. I don't think the cover does justice to the 4 novellas. I don't say that in my review, but the cover art will appear with it.

It's a horrible cover isn't it? *sighs* I'm sure that it has been responsible for the complete lack of sales.

Thanks- I'm looking forward to the review!
