This is supposed to be Bank Holiday TV? Hook, Towering Inferno and Pretty Woman?  It's bloody dull, that's what it is.   I shall give Pierrepoint a go, as someone once recommended it, but it's hardly fun escapism, is it?  Finding Neverland is on later, but I find that almost painful to watch - although brilliant. Just. Bah. *wanders over to BBC Iplayer in desperation*

I'm not quite "there" yet. I have a location, ideas, but I haven't got anything coherent to start with...Not even characters, and this is different because I need to have all three characters on the page from page one, rather than just launching off with one (which seems to be how all the books have gone, colour me predictable). I also need to do amendments to Frost Fair but I'll start that tomorrow.

You know, I was just going to say, "What are you complaining about, there's over 400 other channels to watch-- 100 if you have cable..." then I thought, wait...

You're in the UK.... [points and laughs] XD

*you know I mock with love, right?*

I have about 40 channels I think, but they are all full of crap. I simply can't afford the whole cable/satellite deal - it's about £30 a month.

I had no idea the UK had Cable/Dish programs until I was goofing on David Taylor [ex Love Manga blogger] last year, and he was right quick to set me straight-- Britain does have cable access! I still like to tease though. ^_^

themostepotente does it too, she quotes some Chevy Chase movie at me - National Lampoon's Vacation or something - where England has two tv stations - snow and cheese.

I kept crying when we went to see Finding Neverland.

Huh. I saw Finding Neverland on cable twice and ended up turning it off both times. What made you cry?

I have a guilty little secret... 1970's disaster movies. Any of the Airport movies (except for the stupid underwater one), Earthquake, and yes, The Towering Inferno... If they're on, I'm watching them. Sad, pathetic and something I shouldn't admit in public, but there ya go. *cackle*

Well, except for the Posiden Adventure. Can't handle that one but there's a rather stupid story behind the reason. LOL

I don't mind them, but I have to be in a mood to watch them - plus they've all been on quite recently. There was two on yesterday, although I can't remember for the life of me what the other one was.

I was just in the mood for a couple of hours costume drama or a big hollywood film like Gone With the Wind or something. Not to be. Sadly, our bank holidays are just turning into "any other monday"
