Hallowe'en DAY?

Lovely review of "A Strong & Sudden Thaw" here - after the quite insulting first sentence - I thought the reviewer hated it, but thankfully I was wrong. (Look, I enjoyed those two movies too, but I wouldn't compare this lovely piece of literature with them!!)

Yeah, Arnie made his way across my state yesterday with McCain but tomorrow Obama along with his wife Michelle is holding a huge rally along with music by Bruce Springsteen in downtown Cleveland along with a home game going on.

I have a friend taking her girls to the madness tomorrow.

Is it Tues yet? Seriously. Is it time for this to be over yet?

I don't talk much about it on my LJ to spare y'all but I do watch an insane amount of cable news coverage for the past month.

I do think it will be over. It is going to be close but Obama is going to pull this through and make it. The Republicans have just been so nutty in their words and throwing out anything to see what sticks, example above.

Oh no..it won't stop. Fox News is very slanted right and they will tear Pres. Obama apart on every little thing however Democrats are poised to take over the senate too..and with Congress and the White House many thing could change for the better imo. But it will make the right wing pundits nuts for them having that kind of monopoly.

Let's hope Arnie's wife rips him a new one (probably not physically, alas) when he gets home. I'm actually a little surprised he hasn't jumped ship yet.

I never really watch any of it because I'm getting sick of the whole thing but was surprised at the childish taunting - our politicos would never insult anyone on their size or appearance. What schoolboy bullying!
