Lucius update:

He's a little more alert this morning.

He's had a TINY piece of chicken

He's washing.

These are good signs, right?

Very good signs. Poor kitty. Did you take him to the Vet yesterday?

That's great news and definitely positive - the shots from yesterday are paying dividends ... now what about your own condition; are you improving as well?

I'm not much better than yesterday - still got the earache/sinus pain and a touch of dizzyness but hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Hopeful signs for Lucius; I trust you also are experiencing a turn for the better by now.

At least the silly sausage had the sense to come back to you when he knew he wasn't well!

I think if kitties are washing, it's definitely a sign that they are feeling a wee bit better. I hope he - and you - are feeling better soon!

Washing and eating kitties are very good signs.

Tell Mr. Footloose that he should stay home!

Definitely good signs. It's a sick cat who stops caring about his appearance. What did the vet say?

I've tried the old rinsing-the-sinuses-with-warm-salt-water -- it sometimes helps. Tastes obnoxious, though. Glad Lucius is feeling better. If he's still mopey, it might be partly the reaction to the shot.

They never know to start with, they just gave him some anti-bios and an anti-inflamatory, thought it might be a stomach upset - no temperatature, but he's not eaten since this morning. I'll take him back tommorrow morning.

Glad to hear Lucius is improving.

If you can stand the wary looks, go to a chemist and ask for a plastic syringe [without needle] and just keep it handy. If ever he decides not to drink again you can fill the syringe with tepid water and squirt it gradually into the corner of his mouth. I do that with mine and at least it stops them dehydrating.
