Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tammylee for this - "Being Human" - was a pilot last year apparently, only I missed it, on BBC3 - and they are bringing out the series in the New Year. Well worth watching. Some slashy moments good characters.

Best line of all? They are sitting around discussing which house they'd be placed in if they went to Hogwarts, and one says "I've always fancied Hufflepuff, actually. I'd imagined that in Hufflepuff they just sit around all day making stuff with safety scissors and glitter"

*dies Laughing*

And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] tharain for this. BK brings out a meat flavoured cologne for men.

This will add a new aspect to M/M writing. "His meat smelled like.. meat."

They're actually making Being Human? Yay. *dances* It's been so long since the pilot was on I thought it'd been shelved.

I saw the pilot and loved it. Hurrah for a full series.

I adored Being Human and even stirred myself to sign all the petitions about getting the series made.

I liked the potential ongoing plot in it - am looking forward to seeing how it pans out.

oh! I loved this when it came out. It was FAB. And...I liked it that much I even wrote a gushy letter to the BBC saying so. They told me they had no plans to make it into a series, but they was lyin'!
Hurrah!

Hope so, but even if not, if you use Hotspot shield, you can watch it on the BBC Iplayer.

It looks intriguing - I can't see what the theme will be yet, whether it's good vampires against bad vampires or a different thing each week, but I do like the characters.

Hopefully enough people wrote in saying the same! with the success of Torchwood and Merlin, there's reason for TPTB to realise that people WANT more SFF.

The BBC did a short series of six possible pilots of shows aimed at a young adult audience. Most of them were dire apparently but MY young adult said, "There's this programme about a flat share with a vampire and a werewolf. Leave the computer alone and come and watch it with me". I'm so glad I did and so glad they decided to make it.

Wasn't the dialogue good!

Very good, it was nice to see a sharp witty screenplay for a change!

Inspiring!

Not just to me - there was fanfic on the net within 24 hours.

Not long to wait now.

Well, they are making a few changes in the cast for the series from the pilot - and unfortunately I think the ghost is one of them. I thought that actress was the best thing about the show-she was perfect for it, but I guess we shall see how good her replacement is! They are tweaking the vampires a fair bit as well.

I loved the pilot (there are some torrents around if you can't iplayer working). Very entertaining.

I imagine Hufflepuff is indeed all safety scissors and glitter.
