bounce bounce bounce bounce
Jul. 26th, 2006 06:50 pmBeen sitting here BURSTING with this news all morning, but couldn't post it until
rwday AKA
eumenides1 posted it herself.
Her book is on Amazon!! No cover art yet, but I'm as squeeful as if it were my own!
*bounce bounce bounce * Go over to
rwday and SQUEE at her. Better still ORDER THE BOOK. You won't regret it - It's wonderful. Post apocalyptic with a beautiful homoerotic theme running through it. *smooshes her* I knew her before she was famus!!!
I really need more icons. All the ones I've got are too Po-faced. *imports an over excited Fizzgig*
Oh and I need a mood theme. Any suggestions?
And in the spirit of OMG
erastes gets grumpy in the heat - I'd just like to say, a pox on all agents. I've sent queries out and it's like peeing in space. It just doesn't go anywhere. I (stupidly, it seems) thought it might be easier if I were actually published now, but it appears not. *bites thumb at agents* in a vicious manner
And it's bleeding hot. Hot hot hot. Cooler now I'm home, but it was 94 degrees in the office.

Date: 2006-07-26 06:02 pm (UTC)I haven't had a lot of luck (i.e. any) with agents either. I'm going to try again with the next book, htough.
NINETY FOUR??? They expect you to do anything but put your head down and sleep in that kind of heat? No way.

Date: 2006-07-26 08:01 pm (UTC)And also I HATE HEAT. isn't it like against the law or something to work in certain temperatures, like there's a low one and a high one? I'm guessing since you work in a world of lawyers that someone would know that, but I was sure there was an upper limit, a health and safety thing or something.

Bitch Troll is campaigning for air con. The other building in the firm has it, and it's just surprising no-one keeled over today. I felt dizzy at one point, I should have just pretended to faint.

Date: 2006-07-26 08:39 pm (UTC)You SHOULD pretend to faint. They probably wouldn't have given much of a shit though, from the sounds of it. They ARE lawyers, after all. Maybe if you fainted and hit your head as you went down and then threatened to sue...

Date: 2006-07-26 09:09 pm (UTC)I'm hoping it will be available from some other booksellers, but in a pinch, I can order for people and take Paypal. Though not you - your copy is reserved already.
