Been sitting here BURSTING with this news all morning, but couldn't post it until [livejournal.com profile] rwday AKA [livejournal.com profile] eumenides1 posted it herself.

Her book is on Amazon!! No cover art yet, but I'm as squeeful as if it were my own!

*bounce bounce bounce * Go over to [livejournal.com profile] rwday and SQUEE at her. Better still ORDER THE BOOK. You won't regret it - It's wonderful. Post apocalyptic with a beautiful homoerotic theme running through it. *smooshes her* I knew her before she was famus!!!

I really need more icons. All the ones I've got are too Po-faced. *imports an over excited Fizzgig*

Oh and I need a mood theme. Any suggestions?

And in the spirit of OMG [livejournal.com profile] erastes gets grumpy in the heat - I'd just like to say, a pox on all agents. I've sent queries out and it's like peeing in space. It just doesn't go anywhere. I (stupidly, it seems) thought it might be easier if I were actually published now, but it appears not. *bites thumb at agents* in a vicious manner

And it's bleeding hot. Hot hot hot. Cooler now I'm home, but it was 94 degrees in the office.

I looked on amazon.co.uk - it's not there, annoyingly. But you can order from amazon.com. You do need a credit card though - which I do not have. annoying again, as most places these days accept debit cards grrrr.

And no - there's no maximum working conditions, although there is a minimum. All they are obliged to do is to offer reasonable remedies like fans, cold water, ventilation, blinds.

Bitch Troll is campaigning for air con. The other building in the firm has it, and it's just surprising no-one keeled over today. I felt dizzy at one point, I should have just pretended to faint.

Bollocks, I don't have a credit card either. Oh well, they'll release it over here won't they? WON'T THEY?!

You SHOULD pretend to faint. They probably wouldn't have given much of a shit though, from the sounds of it. They ARE lawyers, after all. Maybe if you fainted and hit your head as you went down and then threatened to sue...

I use a debit card on Amazon.com. Though maybe your debit cards are different from ours?

I'm hoping it will be available from some other booksellers, but in a pinch, I can order for people and take Paypal. Though not you - your copy is reserved already.

It sounds as if I could use my Visa debit card from the Halifax for it, but I'm trying not to as that's supposed to be my savings account! I've used it successfully as a pretend credit card on LiveJournal (to buy another year's worth of time and more userpics), and on CafePress. But the Maestro one doesn't work, alas.
