Shopping? Piece of Cake. (Only no cake as mentioned before) Twenty minutes in and out. DONE.

However - a peculiar lack of sausage rolls. e.g. none. Not a sausage roll to be had for love or money and believe me, I tried both, however the capitalistic scum that is Tescos refused to be bribed, even sexually and I remain sausage roll-less. CHRISTMAS IS RUINED!

I sense a conspiracy. Bought double mince pies instead. And wine for tonight. Hurrah!

We managed to get sausage rolls when we did our shop, but there wasn't a mince pie to be had! (Well. There were, but they were deep filled, which I hate, and Mum doesn't like, so no mince pies for us!)

We didn't go shopping today as Dave is unwell with this vomiting bug so I am pigs-in-blanket-less :(

He's just gone back to bed and I've polished off a little (read: large) deli plate of brie, garlic roule, butter puffs/crackers, freshly baked French bread a la sexy new breadmaker, humous and a bit of salsa. Garlic roule with salsa on top is surprisingly nummy! I would never have thought to put the two together, lol. I would have mince pie and cream but I don't think I've left room in the pudding dept!

*bakes you sausage rolls and sticks them in Santa's delivery sack*

thanks hun! I should have made the effort and searched elsewhere, but as my trolley was groaning I doubted anyone except me (considering it's only going to be me and Dad) will miss them.
