Wah. I wanna go.
Jul. 26th, 2006 07:53 pmThe Call for Participants for the second North American Historical Novel Society conference is now available on the conference website (http://www.historicalnovelsociety.org/albany/conference.htm). There are a number of possibilities for speakers, as members of panels, moderators of panels (see the list of possible panels or suggest your own), or in slots with just one or two speakers (these are limited). The deadline for proposals is September 30, 2006. Decisions will be made by October 31.
This second conference, following the very successful first one in Salt Lake City, will take place in Albany, New York, the capital city which is just 150 miles north of New York City. It will run from June 8-10, 2007.
Planned guests of honor are Bernard Cornwell, bestselling author of the Sharpe series, and Diana Gabaldon, bestselling author of the Outlander series.
