Lucius hasn't been in for his breakfast this morning or his tea tonight. *grinds teeth*  However, he has done this twice before since his last reappearance, then turns up after 24 hours. So I'm not worrying. In fact, I'm not worrying at all. He's a wanderer and there's nothing I can do to stop that. I hate the parable of the Prodigal Son. Always have. Being forced to be the father of the story makes me very cross.

Delicious films on this morning. Double Cary Grant/Hitchcock "Suspicion" and "Notorious" - heaven heaven heaven.

Hurrah! I got a rare egg! I never get rare ones!

is this your cat that's gone missing? Maybe he got shut up in the neighbor's laundry room or something...that happens to my cat more often than I care top think about...He's a nosy bugger and gets in everyone's garden shed or under porch storage on our block...then MEOWS untils someone releases him when he gets bored (read hungry)

Anyway...I sure Lucius will turtn up soon...

oh he's notorious - he's been going missing for 3 months at a time, twice, since April - coming back for 2 weeks and going again. This time he was back for about a month, so I hoped he was staying. But - with a wanderer, you can't do much about them. All I know is that wherever he goes he's being looked after as he's in good condition when he comes back. It just ANNOYS me because he adores me (according to his behaviour) and then buggers off.

I once had a cat like that, a huge snow white tom who never really got named, but answered to pussy, pussy, pussy...so we called him Pussy....gave him a complex, I think. He liked to fight too.

Yes. I do. He came back this morning after 24 hours. No more publicity for him!

*virtual kick*

Actually, honey, I was talking about the biblical Prodigal Son himself; not Lucius! lol!

Glad *your* Prodigal returned, though!

Lucius will always come back when he needs you. BTW, did you know that Radio 4 has a big programme on Frost Fairs on new year's day?

Seamus Heaney and Carol-Ann Duffy are both involved - funny that they didn't ask you!
