It may be a Romance.

But it's dark. All right?

Wow. That is gorgeous. The questions, especially with the images you chose, sent a tingle down my spine. This goes right to the very top of the "watch for" list.

Thank you! I'm sort of trying to warn people that it's the 17th century and therefore almost impossible to make it a sunny happy romance. I was lucky, in a way, that the Devil's Whore came along and gave a lot of people a flavour of the era.

Thank you! It was a perfect piece of music, but annoyingly difficult to find a place to end it with!

Nice! I like it better than the other one. Well done!

I liked this one better than the first one, too. It didn't feel dark to me. Just somber with a weighty theme. I thought the final bit of information about the publisher, etc, went by a little too fast. Otherwise, it's very cool.
Do book videos get a lot of views on YouTube?

Thank you!

No, not a huge viewing--I stick it on the website too, but Standish has only had about 1400 views in two years, and Frost Fair only about 400 in six months - but it's fun to do.

I like the pic at 0.38, the dark haired person. Who is it?

It's Jamie Campbell Bower who was in Sweeney Todd. Michael, who he's supposed to represent has blonder hair than it seems here, but he's got the right angelic face.

Fantastic! The very end would be a little stronger, though, if you could somehow change it so the music ends on a drumbeat instead of that high-pitched note.

I am beside myself wondering how you're going to work out an HEA or even a HFN out of this own. Brrr!

It was a lovely piece of mood music, but annoyingly circular and difficult to find a suitable ending. Glad you liked it! And yes. Excuse me while I go Bwhahahahahahaha!!!!

I liked both of the trailers, but I prefer this one. It helps set the mood of totally forbidden love and conveys a sense of what the boys are up against.

I can't wait to re-read the edited version.

You'll be getting one too, of course! :) Authors copies! Almost the best thing about writing a book!

Quite happy to buy one just to see my name on the dedications! :-) And to wave at myself in the tavern, although I hope you managed to edit out the ex!

If you'd given me a bit more notice, I could have got some excellent pics from the English Civil War Society for stern looking blokes. Yes, I know I've known from day one about Trans, but if I'd known about the video, I could have tapped a few lines to ask nicely for permission to use some photos I have. Never mind, they might have run screaming from the whole being involved with the gay historical anyway.

I am so bored with being off sick. How would you fill your days if you didn't write? I seem to just end up down the pub, playing the quiz machine and having strange men declare their love for me. No, stop laughing, it's happened to me twice in the last week and it's NOT funny.

Bloody bored.

Well you could chat to me from time to time!!!

No worries about the pictures--I should have asked you, but I wasn't sure where you were. Stern AND hot? Gimme them anyway.

*g* It certainly is darker. But those are some amazing images! Gorgeous! I have to say that I prefer the other one, because I liked the music better on the first. But this is much more powerful, I think.
