She got an A GRADE review on Dear Author for False Colors. Regular readers of that blog will know how rare that grade is, so it’s a standing ovation from me! Well done babe! I can’t hope to emulate that if they review Transgressions because I know that it’s not as good a book (and no, this is not false modesty) but if I got a B- or a C+ I’d be bloody happy!!!!
It’s really scary, this stuff. You know? Astounding review, Alex, I can’t tell you how pleased I am for you.
OK - now here’s a couple of competition winners:
From History Hoydens: NIXY wins a copy of Transgressions
From Desert Island Keepers: JAMBREA wins a copy of Transgressions
From Jessewave’s Birthday Bash SUBARU53 won Transgressions and BARBARA SHERIDAN wins a copy of Standish

Oh, saw the review on Dear Author. Go, go! Excellent review, and of course, I was buying the book anyhow.

I bought it. I also bought Alex's book, but I am geeked about a new one by you that was in the Romance Section!
(Though, since I read the end first, as always, I hope that some romance readers won't get cranky on your butt about a non-HEA. I will probably have questions once I am finished about WHAT THE F--- HAPPENS NEXT? Since, given what I saw, it looks like the story is not OVER! O-o)

Date: 2009-04-11 07:48 am (UTC)No no no - you cannot accuse me of having a non-HEA just because you read the ending first, doing that is out of context because you haven't seen what they've been through to get there - that's very much a HEA!
Yes, there's the question of "what happens next" but doesn't that always happen in books we enjoy?
