If Dollhouse gets cancelled which it probably will it will be a bloody crying shame. It's really ramping up, (but then, I've found it incredibly interesting from week one) and the whole Sleeper/Alpha/Attic thing is blowing my mind. OK - most shows have to have a Road Runner element (e.g. the Coyote chases the RR forever or the public loses interest) but some shows (Lost, Heroes)were more interested in creating questions than answering them. Josh seems to manage that in a good way, and bloody hell, he managed it admirably with Buffy for years and years without tying himself in too many knots.

Dollhouse is dark, unafraid to handle issues that some others don't, intelligent, surprising, downright scary and Dushku aside, some of the acting is very good.  I'm hugely impressed with the actor who plays Victor for example - I almost bit my tongue of in the last (maybe the last) episode where he's been imprinted with D. And now we have the wonderful wonderful Alan Tudyk who I've only seen in a few things, but have been hugely impressed with every performance. Just because he's not "classically handsome" - doesn't mean he can't act everyone else off the stage.

Fox - I know you aren't listening, and I know you won't read the email I just sent, but please DON'T cancel this show. It's the best thing I've seen for bloody ages.

Also enjoying Legends of the Seeker for entirely different reasons. :D

And - if you thought you were getting away with it you was wrong! Eggs and Hatchlings!  I have a floaty egg. *pets it.*

ok, ALAN is in this now? I am going to have to give it a second shot. I had given up after the first two episodes but I love Alan. When I see him in the Direct TV commercial it makes me cry, literally, because I mean, come on. Is that ALL he has going? *sniffles*

Yes, and he's quite quite brilliant. I made the mistake of looking him up on the IMDB site to see what his full name was (so I could post here) and spoiled myself appallingly as to who and what his role was in the whole scheme of things.

I like pretty much everyone on the show except Topher. He gets on my nerves, but then I think he's supposed to. I have a character in something I'm writing, and when I picture her, I see Miracle Laurie, the actress who plays Mellie. She has very pretty eyes and a very kind, trustworthy face. I'm not sure I'm doing a great job of translating her looks to the page, but maybe once I've gone over it a few times it will be better.

I don't like Topher either - I was entirely creeped out when he imprinted Sierra with that geek imprint for his birthday, because I have the huge suspicion that the imprint he gave her was HIS. But that's why I like the show too, that these are ordinary people doing very wrong things for various reasons.

I love Mellie, and so glad there's not "another stick thin character" on the screen. Nice to see curves for a change.
