Well, I’ve just done my normal trick and written the end of Mere Mortals. This doesn't mean I’ve finished it, just that I’ve written the end.  I like to do this because it keeps me focussed and gives me somewhere to aim at, I know most people don’t do this, but it’s something that works for me!!

It just about killed me too, I feel like I’ve been through a wind machine or something. Exhausted and I really need a drink. It was harrowing, to say the very least.

I’ve been playing the most stupidly addictive farming sim game, Molehill Empire. Who knew growing tomatoes and carrots was so much fun!

Do you ever find that, writing the end before doing the section(s) that precede it results in having to change the ending when you get there? Or is it usually pretty definite and the preceding chapters slide nicely up to the conclusion?
I'll sometimes have a few sentances that give me an idea of how I think it's going to end, but I don't tend to write it out - I may have to try that!

No, not so far - the end of Transgressions was almost the first part I wrote, I think the only ending I didn't write that early was the Frost Fair ending and that's the ending I'm most dissatisfied with. The intervening events havent changed the endings... yet, at least!!

I'm a bit of a jigsaw puzzle writer, as I do tend to write scenes all over the place, and slot them in as i go!
