An agent requested a partial this morning. This was nice to wake up to. Fingers crossed, again. I changed my query letter a little bit--not a lot!--so maybe that had an effect.

Off to the library soon, (well, after double Upstairs Downstairs, one has to get one's priorities right!!) but I don’t think that I’ve actually reserved anything – regular readers will know that my library is one of the smallest in the known universe, and doesn’t exactly have shelves bursting with gay literature. So I’ll have to take pot luck. Don’t blame me if I come back with Jean Plaidy and Dick Francis.

There’s a blackbird making a hell of a racket outside. It had better not be the Snucius making mischief. Although their middle names is (are?) mischief.

Everything crossed, not just fingers.

Now you can't blame me if you injure yourself missy - but thank you!

If I could, I would cross my nose hairs for you... but I can't. So, I won't. But I'll think about it. Which sort of counts (:

Good luck!

Yay, a smart agent. I don't know why agents aren't clamouring at your door saying "Pick me, pick me!" Do they not know that you've been publishing by RP? Or do they not care since they don't get a cut of that sale?

Aw thanks, you are nice.

I think that's it, they are interested in the property you have to sell at that moment, I'm sure. Obviously I'd like them to handle onward rights for the other books, but it's Junction X they'd have to really believe in.

Fingers duly crossed. Hope agent wants a complete manuscript, and that your expanding red dragon does not explode.

Thank you! and it's quite the silliest dragon, really. *fights with small pin *

You've got a pair now, don't you? If you breed them you might eventually get a lighter-than-air team to pull your dirigible...

LOL! Yes! that would be an ideal way to travel. Although I'd rather have sexy dragons rather than pink red cushion lookalikes. Yes, I'm fussy, but it doesn't say "here comes the new empress of the world," does it?

No, but it does say "here's someone who's not wasting her substance on petrol."
