Just got back from dad’s which sadly denigrated into “I’ve lost XXXX” and we spent the normal hour hunting around the house (found a stack of sweeties hidden in the drawer like a diabetic squirrel and the gloves I bought him last year which he said he’d lost) but not the XXXX we were looking for. Sigh. Then he’d forget what we were looking for - I wish he wouldn’t WORRY about stuff the way he does.

Now, I’m mopping up the Christmas food. Pigs in blankets and chocolates. Also I’ve invented a Christmas Fondue. balls of left over Christmas Pudding being dipped into double cream.

:)

And I know the TV is usually fairly crappy at Christmas but it’s particularly dreadful today.

I watched Avatar and I have to say that it was amazing. Predictable as HELL plot, but omg the pretty.  I want one of those horses please.

Adopt one today! - Adopt one today! - Adopt one today! - Adopt one today!

Hehe, I saw Avatar yesterday and I must say I hated it, despite the beautiful visuals. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. I posted my review here: http://spirit-serpenti.livejournal.com/2564.html

Er...either your post or your LJ is friends-locked. I can't read your review.

Eek - sorry. Yeah, it's locked, and I forgot. I usually lock everything because my bosses at work know my username. I'll friend you, if you don't mind?

Been too busy working to see Avatar, though the trailers look AMAZING!

And I am so jealous of your Christmas pudding fondue, as after steaming my year old (and should have been beautifully mature) home-made Christmas pudding for hours, I opened it and found MOULD!

Sian and I were sat there with half a pound of brandy butter, a pint of extra-thick double cream and NO PUDDING. Still, brandy butter and double cream taste good.........

Love you, have a wonderful New Year and really, we must get together again soon. New Year's Resolution?

I loved Avatar, really did. As I say, the plot was ridiculously derivative and predicatable but the special effects and beautfy of it all made up for it for me.

sorry about your pudding, dear - not enough brandy in it!! :)

I miss you too! *hugs* Happy New Year to you!
