I get very annoyed with the new Whiskas advert where she says the food is so good that the cat next door comes in to get some, and she feeds him daily. This is wrong wrong wrong. If I found someone doing that, I’d go around and smack them round the head.

Oh god, yes! Every time I see that ad I feel angry, like you I'd have to have words with whoever was feeding my cat - and my cats don't have specific dietary needs to worry over, unlike some. It's risky from a diet point of view, but it's also attempting to steal the cat! They all love food so much that they would go around for daily feedings and then try for more than one meal a day extra (Teyto kitten would so do that, she tries to get me to feed her again an hour after Mum has given her breakfast)...

Ack, that is wrong. Obviously you get those bigamous cats, who two different household belive they own. But to knowingly feed someone else's cat you know is being fed perfectly well elsewhere is a bit of a cheek.
