I think we’ve seen that plot in Merlin three times now. At least. I know it’s aimed for a younger age-group than me, but it’s still insulting.

I had a letter from Nissan yesterday, which boggled me. Get this:

“As you are already familiar with Nissan, I thought you might like to be kept abreast of all the exciting new developments happening at the company.

However, because you have opted out of receiving marking communications from us, can cannot currently tell you about any product news, events or special offers.

That’s why, as Managing Director of Nissan, I wanted to write to you personally to invite you to opt back in to receiving news from us.”

It goes on, explaining how.

WHAT PART OF OPT OUT DO THEY NOT UNDERSTAND???
