I am watching TV without the occlusion on my glasses and it’s only the tiniest bit out of synch. Near – e.g. the PC screen is more double-visiony, but only a little. I shall try and watch an hour of tv without the occlusion on a day. This is encouraging!

I do wish The Event wouldn’t jump around so much in time, it’s bloody confusing.

Have the medical people said what is up with your eyes? How are you still double-visiony now? I know they've bled you/Warfarinised you/poked and proded you but...what? Email me if this isn't where you want to discuss stuff.

yes, still double visiony - i'm trying to exercise the eyes more to help them - although they ahven't given me that as an instruction, i need to do something! I have an MRI in a week or so -- perhaps that will throw some light on it.

Woohoo! That sounds brilliant! And if your eyes only stay the same, your brain should adjust the image to make it work better (I think.)

Now that's what I'd always heard. I'd seen experiements where they gave people glasses which showed their vision upside down and the eyes adapted in time to give them normal vision. So I'm hoping.

The Event is confusing me so much I doubt I can keep watching if they don't stop timeline hopping. Plus they have too much plot and not enough character development.

Good news about your eyes BTW. :)

Yes - i watched it, and now I feel i needto watch it again - mainly because my tv is too small to see the "xxxx hours earlier" bits so i need to watch the online version which at least is closer!

thanks! i think they are getting better, still hard on the pc, but distance is definitely easier
