the trees are now all burnt gold and the mists make it all look so gorgeously English. And before anyone gets offended, I’m English, and I’m sorry if you think I should think it’s British, but I don’t! LOL.

I have my MRI on Monday. Oh joy. I have visions of me being stuck in the tube, and nurses hanging their washing from my legs.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood did not arrive yesterday. It may arrive today, and I’m at Dad’s. Gnash. I have a disgustingly misspelled email from Play.com saying how sorry they were that the game had not arrived but that the postal service was not their responsibility. Well, then, what you should not do is to say that it will be delivered on release day, should you? I’m never pre-ordering again, beta-access or no. I’ve hardly used the beta online game anyway, and I could have just nipped out to Tescos (or, let’s be honest, had Tescos deliver it with the shopping) at 8am and been playing away happily at nine. And in the doubtful event that you are reading this Play.com – it wasn’t an ENQUERY I made. It was a bloody COMPLAINT.

ETA; THE BLOODY GAME STILL ISN’T HERE. ANGRY DOESN’T DESCRIBE MY WRATH. Play.com – from Hell’s heart I spit at thee.

Blasted book is causing me nightmares. It’s turned into a genre that I’ve never written before and I’m doubting my ability to pull it off. I’m writing around the edges of the parts that scare me senseless and hoping that inspiration will strike. *pokes at it* Notwithstanding, I did 1000 words. I will be very interested to see how people take this book. I may go down in flames with it.

The nurses won't have time to do their washing. They only wear tunics and PJs anyway so at least there won't be any ironing afterwards.

Keep the Faith, Charlie! (Have you remembered, yet? *pokes braincell*)

Re the troublesome book, have you consulted your dreams? There are several ways to do this: 1) Just before you fall asleep, ask yourself (or whoever may be hearing your thoughts) how to write the next scary part -- then, when you wake up, make an effort to remember as much as you can. (You might actually remember words, as though written on a computer screen.) Method 2) Don't ask for solutions, just try to remember your dream when you wake up. Chances are that you will dream about what is troubling you. Method 3) Is there a writer you admire who writes the kind of scene you are trying to write? How would he/she/they tackle it? Is there a way to adapt that person's approach to your own? Hope this helps.
