I feel better today, hurrah. It’s rather scary when one walks across the floor and has to lean on the kitchen cabinets as you gasp for breath as if you’ve just swum the channel or something! And bugger, the surgery isn’t open today, and I’m out of Lisinopril. ooops. Probably just as well.
I’ve had the first editing suggestions from Carina, and I’m a tad scared. They need a lot of rewriting and additions in three weeks. THREE WEEKS!!! This means that I Knew Him will have to have a temporary shelving while I print out the file and mull over the changes. I’m not surprised by the changes, I knew that some of the issues I’d left up in the air would be a problem with a romance publisher, but you know me, I generally like to have a “oh dear how are they going to sort it out?” kind of ending, because that’s how it would have been. They can hardly move in together in 1860 Prussia!. :D However, that’s my problem, and it will be fun to re-read. The publishing date has been pushed back to July 4th though, so I’d better get some short stories out there or something, a year between publications? People will forget who I am!
OK – off to Dad’s. Going to go out for lunch. The sun is shining, and I don’t have the stamina to stand up for half an hour to cook. Hope everyone is well, and keeping warm or cool, depending on where you are.
