Dr Who Special

Pretty good. Not great. Too much overracting, frankly. 

Didn't like Catherine Tate, but then I don't like her as an actress/comedienne anyway, she can't do character parts, she always plays the same person. I was waiting for her to say "Am I bovvered" to the Doctor.

However there were some interesting points made, and we saw the Doctor as he truly is, terrifying and deadly.

The best bit was the glimpse into the new series, there are Black Daleks in the Doctor's future! *squee*

They are also playing "The Sarah Jane Adventures" on New Years Day, and Torchwood has a double finale on New Year's Day.  Yipee.

AND I'd just like to show off about THIS. *points* What a nice Christmas Pressie.

Hahaha, I was about to ask who gave you a copy of the Back Passage book when I read the other comments. Lol, yes, brilliant Chrissie pressie!! Christmas has come between me and Standish but not for long!

I only saw bits of the Dr. Who because I fell asleep half way through. I woke up to see the Catherine Tate person and spent most of the end of hte show wondering if it was really her and expecting the "am I bovvered?" phrase. THis detracted from the rest of it for me!

I'll watch it later when I've had less alcohol.

Bah - it was up to the number four position yesterday , 6k in books total, which is bloody amzing, considering it is about 212000 in american books. It's slipped down today.

Yes, a bit "samey" the DW episode - but still, some nice insights into the doctor.
