omg just brilliant! Half way through the double epi and I'm just in Torchwood heaven. The whole dance hall routine was amazing - if I could EVER write something that packs that type of punch, that has people weeping at a m/m kiss, then I shall die happy.

Best line in the second epi: "In normal circumstances, an exhuberant roman would be my idea of a perfect morning"

And there's still the Jack/Ianto snog to look forward to. But I'm now more afraid than ever that my fear that it's a "Kiss me before I go and save the world at the pain of certain death" snog, will be true.

wibble wibble wibble.

I need SCREEN CAPS OF THE 1941 KISS, YOU HEAR ME??????

eta: OMG

ETA: omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we can now safely say that the Doctor/Jack subtext is now...

yes, beautifully done, there are far too few stories that use leitmotif like that, they did it in the second? episode too, it was heartbreaking.

I bawled three seperate times during the "double" eps ... In 1941 (Whaaaa! OMG How incredibly devastating ... and cute! ... and sad ... and lovely!), then when Reese was killed and again randomly at some point between Jack/Ianto and The right sort of Doctor ... and OMG OMG OMG When is Dr Who starting up again?

I have to admit, I worry about the real Jack's men's reactions after the rift opened up again, I hope he wouldn't be beaten up....

I've been waiting, breathless for your reaction to these Torchwoods. At the kiss bit, I had a squealy, OMG-it's-an-[livejournal.com profile] erastes-moment!! I watched Brokeback Mountain the day before and finishing off Standish so I've had a very boyish week all in all.

So, looking forward to Dr. Who stuff now again as well *g*

Someone posted this link in the comments on another friend's journal: http://www.bbc.co.uk/ww2peopleswar/stories/36/a2688636.shtml

I don't normally slash (I know, why did I friend you again? LOL!) but that dance scene was simply beautiful. As was the kiss.
