Had to learn that yesterday. I had a deadline to hit and I hit it. I won't say that the story was any good, and I'll be surprised if it's accepted but I made myself hit that deadline and I'm proud of myself. But ouch it was hard work writing 3k in a day.

But then along came [livejournal.com profile] novel_in_90 and if I can do 3K in a day, I can damn well do 750!

Except I haven't done any today. Start tomorrow, or perhaps the day after the funeral.

I joined that comm, too. I'm hoping that that would spell the end of NaNoWriMo for me because while I can work under pressure where short stories are involved, I really can't do it with novels.

750 words per day sounds good. :)

Did you procrastinate on your submission? ¬_¬

Oh I am the master procrastinator, partly because I didn't know the deadline and only found out a day or two before it was due. I'm awful. Give me a deadline and I'll leave it till the last minute!

!!!

3K would take me _at least_ 12 hours to write O_o

750 words sounds feasible...compared to 2000 words @ Nano.

*go checks comm. out*

It took me longer than that, but on and off, i was playing computer games for a lot of it. My concentration is shot to pieces.

Yeah I can't maintain concentration for that long either.

i'm very impressed with the word counct!

And yes, I'd die to be under contract to write ANY number in a year, perhaps it'll happen one day, but I dread it!

Yes, definitely. It's a good bitesize size for JX as the scenes are smaller in the novel - Here's hoping it will work

Off topic perhaps, but I work at a farmers' market (I make coffee), and Jason Isaacs is a regular customer. I always think of you.

I kept meaning to, never got round to it.

So if you're ever in the Queens Park area between 10 and 2 on a Sunday...

He normally gets there around 11ish.
