I would like to have a theological discussion with them, they might be nice - but they aren't giving me an opportunity to find out. I LOVE having theological discussions with people - specially with those people who "cherry pick" the Bible to suit themselves, so they are comfortable with the messages.

Have you ever seen the book "Ain't Nobody's Business if You Do?" It's basically a tome arguing against victimless crime, and the section on Biblical prejudice is wonderful. Literally gives chapter-and-verse of all the other prohibitions, equally 'abominable,' such as shaving, mixing fabric in clothing, and the famous "god hates shrimp" dietary sins.

I have some Christian friends who genuinely practice the discipline--but the noisiest gang are the ones who use Jesus as a club to beat people with... who start every sentence with "My Minister Says...." Conversation's impossible--it's the old Zen parable about trying to pour more tea into a full cup.
