I haven't posted about Creative Writing and TheDivineTom this week because it wasn't particularly interesting, to be honest. I didn't like the story I wrote for homework, although I quite liked the in class exercise I did – and neither were about m/m and both stories were contemporary involving women.; *feels forehead *; We have to start taking in the writing we do during the week from now on, and he'll choose people at random to read stuff out. I really don't know what people are going to make of poor tortured Ed and his lusts for the nubile Alex.; The Christian women seem to avoid me. I wonder why.; *snortles*

TDT asked to read Standish and – AMAZINGLY – I just happened to have a copy with me!; What are the odds on that?; He said that his son "was gay" which leads me to think that he died, as I don't think that he would have tried it for six months and then changed back. I'll have to ask another one of the class, I suppose in case I put my foot in it. Which I'm rather likely to do, knowing me.; He flipped through it, admiring the type face (which I like too) and said that I could certainly write, which made me squirm with happiness.

He organises a writers' circle once a month so I thought I'd go to that as well, now I've got my toes wet, as it were. There is reading aloud – which I probably won't be a-partaking in.; Slicked fingers and throbbing cocks probably will cause apoplexy. Yes, I could read out the tame bits, but where's the fun in that?; And anyway, Junction X is just about constant U and RST, so it would be difficult to find a bit where he's not obsessing over Alex's eyes, or skin or bottom/arse/backside/posterior/rump* delete where necessary.

I love having friends who are writing books. And I'm uber priviledged to be the first reader, too.  rwday and gehayi are both writing novels and they are both so wonderfully different, and yet both bloody amazing.  rwday's  is all about the Kingdom of Jerusalem and leaves me open mouthed with the depth of knowledge she has, and gehayi's wonderful fantasy which is going to blow fantasy's socks off, I swear.

Oh and I've been wailing the lack of having an Outlook Calendar and I've just discovered that Works has a Calendar with pop up reminders! Hurrah!  No more missed deadlines!  *cough*
