Best Gay Erotica 2007 in which I have a short story has been nominated for Best Gay Erotica

rwday's A Strong & Sudden Thaw has been nominated for two categories - Best Gay Sci-fi and Debut

Well, to be fair, these are just nominations. Anyone turning in a book with a check makes it. It's if he makes the finalist round, that's the accomplishment.

You are right though, I shouldn't have got so excited about the nominations, the publisher obviously did that. I should have waited to get excited until the cut.

But it's all so new.. and I tend to bounce prematurely....

Confession: I FINALLY got around to ordering Standish from Amazon.com today. (I've been having trouble with my PayPal account that I needed to straighten out first.) I can't wait to cuddle up with the book and read. I love everything you write.
