Obviously it's travelled halfway across the world and ended up here. Ludicrous thing, snow in northern Canada...

I think I will have to move to Northern Canada.

There are men there with checked shirts, yes?

I got up at 06.30 to take my car to the garage in good time because of the announced TERRORIST!SNOW ATTACKS COUNTRY ... Edged out of my snowy driveway and found a non-snowy road outside. Was about 1 hour early. Back home we used to force our tiny cars through metres of snow and there was never a problem but OMGI've let the headlines influence my behaviour. Time for therapy.

I know! We have no snow up here either. It's bloody cold though, but without either snow or sunshine I do feel this kind of weather is unacceptable.*sulks*

It's heading your way. Here in London we've got about two inches, and of course transport has "ground to a halt". I cleared the car bonnet and rear window so I could get the blanket out of the boot and put it over the engine, and it's white over again after an hour.

Well, no snow here, though it's partly cloudy, but the temperature is -10 Celsius, with a wind chill factor of -15 Celsius. Brrrr.

Right now I'd gladly see some snowfall, because that'd mean that the temperature would have to rise a bit. No wind, thank goodness, but we had -33C this morning, up here in Finland.

*Gasps while looking outside*

It *is* snowing! (Too) Slowly and (too) tiny little flocks. Started about 15 minutes ago. They predicted snow chaos here as well but mmm.... not in this rate...

*Wishes for at least one metre of snow, economy crashing down because of it and not giving a damn because it would mean she can enjoy the snow and feel like a child again*

It was snowing here in London this morning, while I walked to the tube station and then from the tube station to my class. Quite amusing, actually -- I'd heard it falling outside but thought it was just rain, and then when I opened the front door I saw that the rain was white and fluffy. Took my tired brain a few moments to figure out that it was snowing. Of course, by the end of my class it had stopped, just leaving a massive puddle in front of the bus stop. Which was less nice.

I got the book yesterday. Um, here: http://lovemefearme.livejournal.com/201896.html?mode=reply

I am very sure that I have, well, fallen in love with your writing all over agian. I feel silly for writing such an reveiw for something that has most likely been given far better writen one. I mean everything I said, even the bit about the Fan Fiction.

What I mean when I say that is it is my only form art that I can do to show you how much the book has touched me. However I will never say I have an understanding
of your characters. You just made me fall in love with them.

Thank you my dear for writing this book. I wish there was another hundred pages of it for me to read. I wish I could do fan art, I was I had the skill to draw out what your words showed me. Again, I feel rather silly waxing on here and in my LJ when all I am meaning to tell you is how much I enjoyed the book.

Thank you again for interducing me to the world of Standish.

All my love,
Gina.

PS: I do have to say I felt a little guilty reading this book at work, there were moments I know I was blushing because it's so damn hot as well. xoxox
