Men Magazine is out - with my story in, apparently. "Show Don't Tell" is the story of a young man at a literary convention. Go forth and brave the "top shelves" or "under the counter" or wherever such filth is sold and buy one! Jeff Funk liked it!

I'm going to have ask RWDay to send me a copy as I don't get a contributors copy when it comes to magazines I think?

Hope everyone is well. I'd just like to say - WHERE'S OUR WINTER PLEASE? I have a solitary brave daffodil in my garden. And the cherry blossom is out. That's just stupid.

We have a few clusters of brave daffodils in our garden. I guess they're the early blooming breeds. But they still shouldn't be out in January. At least the solitary snowdrop has been sticking to schedule.

Hooray for publication! I hope it's well received by others.

We have clumps of snowdrops they are beautiful and yes - they seem to have got it right this year. Stupid daffs.

Thanks!

I generally get contributor's copies from these type of pubs -- sometimes it takes FOREVER but they do send them.

Of course, that leaves you with the question of what to do with lots and lots and lots of this material -- I find a very deep filing cabinet to be a Very Good Thing.

Oh excellent! I'll wait patiently. But I'll get rwday to get me one anyway, just in case!

:)

And yes, magazines are not easy to store are they. Hmmm...

Congrats on the story! And I'd be a little surprised if you didn't get a contributors copy... :/

We have crocuses (crocusi?) out in our garden but no daffs yet. Guess it's a little closer to the north pole than you are. :D

Congrats on the sale! That's awesome.

As for the winter... You're quite welcome to ours. I'm sick of the cold weather. Bleh.

Heh. We had a couple days of snow, but around here, it melts quickly. I miss autumn. Or the South. Or both...

Sounds lovely. I may have to acquire a copy!

I agree on the change of season. Where is Winter? It is January. The North Eastern quadrant of the US should be covered in blanket of cool white. What, instead, hops about my lawn? Robins. They are not suppose to return until at least March!

Stupid, indeed.

Cheers,

LGL

Congrats on the story!

Winter is apparently due to arrive this weekend. Just as I'm heading up to Lincolnshire, of course... Must remember to go out tomorrow and top up the windscreen washer thingy.
