Oh what fun we had!
Mar. 27th, 2008 08:01 amSo I went to the library t'other day and they were selling re-usable jute bags so I bought one, always handy to have something to keep your books in and lug them around in. Better than plastic blah blah.
But the cats LOVE it. So far it's been:
A bed
A fort
A hiding place
A scratching post
Something to chew
An ambush spot
A look out post (when there's another cat in it that they can sit on) like meercats
Something to drag around by the handles while the others chase
*sigh*
So my books are out of the bag and back in a plastic one. I'll have to get another Jute bag!! But it was only £1.20, so as a cat toy and the amount of fun they've had with it, it's worth it!

Date: 2008-03-27 02:42 pm (UTC)I have a vast collection of the non-woven-polypropylene (?) bags from M&S and Tesco, the sort that fold up, as well as the strong bags that the big supermarkets sell - orange from Sainsbury's, blue from Tesco, various colours from Wilkinson, etc. I bought an organic cotton one from M&S today, and the Co-op are doing Fairtrade cotton shoppers too. No good for the cats, though - not firm enough to stand up to them!
