Three things I could live without

1. The Day Job

(except of course, I couldn't - because BAH - I need it to have the things in my second section.)

2. Evil Lawyers

3. The Marks & Spencer's Food Ads

Marks & Spencer Fish Cakes

This is not just expensive over-packaged crap, it's Marks and Spencer's expensive over-packaged crap.

Three things I could NOT live without

1. ANIMALS!

(I may have cats, but that doesn't mean I'm by definition a cat person. I have cats because they can live without me during the day.
I WANT one of these,

but I can't have Bertie here, and work full time.) I had horses up to my 20's too. I'd dearly love the time and money to end my days with a nice schoolmaster (HORSE)

2. WINE

Flat. Fizzy. Home-made. Made from (mostly) apples. It's essential. How else am I suppose to preserve my liver? Answer me that!
(and by definition, cheese!!)

3. BOOKS

I can't believe that there was a time in my early 20's when I stopped reading, after a rich and book-filled childhood, but when I started again in my mid-20's I never stopped again

I owned a cat until I realised my partner was highly allergic, and Pell now lives with my old housemate and her new kitten. We now have a basset hound who is about a year and a half old, and we love her to bits.

This is Lucy at six weeks old, when we first brought her home (with my boyfriend). I returned to Oxford a week later, so I didn't get to see her again until March, when she looked like this. And this is roughly what she looks like now, though slightly larger.

She tries, and she still chases her tail sometimes, which is always adorable. Although we did buy a Roomba robot vacuum cleaner after Christmas and she has officially declared territorial war -- that is hysterically funny to watch.

I agree, I would prefer a dog but I work alot and have to drive almost a hour to get there so a dog isn't practical so I have a cat and he is a suck.

Hello! I friended you because I saw you on gay writers. I should have introduced myself, do forgive me.

I also have to commute, and it's too far to get home for lunch. And due to evil lawyers i can't take a dog to work

Welcome!
