Woo Hoo!! Gaylaxicon Winner!
Oct. 14th, 2008 09:43 amGinn Hale with Wicked Gentlemen.

I'd been shouting about this book since I first read it and I'm very pleased for Ms Hale to see that she has just won the Spectrum Gaylaxicon Award for best fantasy novel of 2008.
As usual, the website isn't up to date: doesn't even have the short-list - so thanks to
moondancerdrake for this information!
If you haven't read Wicked Gentlemen then I can't recommend it highly enough. Here's my review, posted earlier in the year. It's not a perfect book in my eyes, but it was certainly one of the best things released last year that I read.
Well done, Ginn. I hope you are suitably happy and that you know that there's a huge contingent of people wanting more. Congrats too, to Blind Eye Books who know exactly what sort of talent they have.
There's two chapters here if you are interested.
