Well the Advent Calendar is now filled up - the final day (today) is something different and something I haven't done before. I hope you go and find out what it is! :)

It was fun to do the calendar, and I'll try and do something similar next year. Which means I'll have to write at least 20 somethings by then...

Doctor Who was .... FAB-U-LOUS! I loved David Morrisey, and I adore the way that all the guessing I'd been doing as to how he was the the doctor and didn't recognize himself (argh! i typed recogniZe!) and was completely WRONG! Shame, because Morrisey is the perfect doctor - and it was very very clever the way he brought just a little bit of many of the Doctors into his persona. The T.A.R.D.I.S. made me laugh too. And what a great villain! Great sets, great snow, Victorian STEAM PUNK!!. Loved it loved it. For sure the best of the Christmas episodes.

I was just looking at how beautiful Lucius has become. Here's him the day I picked him up:
 And here's him now.

He's matured nicely, hasn't he?  He certainly looks a lot less like Hitler or Ron Mael.  Although I can't help but read the pictures as: "Ah ha, here's a human we can manipulate!"  And "God, you are SO easy..."  It amazes me how cats can have so many expressions when they don't have eyebrows.

I would, quite happily, kill for a sausage roll about now.  This post has been brought to you by the power of rotten tv scheduling and extreme boredom. (look! new icon!  thank you [livejournal.com profile] the_sea_to!

Thank you for the Advent Calendar and the very cool surprise of hearing your voice. You have a lovely voice, Erastes. I enjoyed every bit of the calendar, and only wish I could get my own copy of the space boys story, and maybe the chaperones one. They were both so cool.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun to do, and nice to revisit some of the fanfics I'd almost forgotten!

What a lovely voice you have!

How kind! To my ears I find that I sound about six. I got the feeling that when I worked in the lawyer's office they had a vision of a paralegal sitting there with crayons.

You have the most beautiful diction... lovely voice too! I love how you pronounce all the "t"'s. You also sound young... Love the sound effects.

I know. I sound six. I always have, it's galling.

Thank you! The sound effect was The Hat, it's a great programme for picking a name randomly. Now I've finally treated myself to a microphone headset I may be doing more of these!!

I either sound like a kid who has read one too many thesauraruses, or like I'm trying to sleep with people. Does not help that I have "Generic Strange Foreign Upper Class Accent" (Imagine, you were born in Alabama to Maltese Parents, then you go to South Africa, the Pakistan, then Malta and finish it all off at english Public School. It is a giant mishmash)

I cannot wait for more of your voice posts. So... when are your audiobooks coming out! You should do readings!!!! Yes! I'd come to Norfolk for readings!

I don't know if I could read my erotica without laughing or dying of embarrassment. I've never read it out loud before.

You must have read dick and jane (the children's book) when you were a kid... just think of it as... "Dick and more Dick"

Cats and dogs have the best expressions ever. As far as Lucius goes... *sigh* Kids really grow up way too fast, don't they?

I just don't know how kids do it. And Lucius' 2nd expression is positively indecent. He really takes after his namesake, I'm afraid.

I thoroughly enjoyed your Advent Calendar, especially the fact that the stories were so different. The one that made me stop and think the most was Fugitive Colours: such delicious prose and dark subject matter.

Happy Boxing Day and a prosperous new year.

Thank you! That is one of my favourites - or at least, one I'm most proud of, although yes, it's terribly dark.

And a hippy happy Boxing Day etc to you too!

LOVE your accent. :D

And yeah... Things 1 & 2 decided that my stomach made the perfect bed when I laid down to talk on the phone in the bedroom. It really is amusing to watch their faces. LOL

Thank you!

I get that in the morning. They are quite well behaved until the light is really in the bedroom and then they can't hold themselves back and I get launched at and bounced on until I get up. Sadly this time of the year this gets earlier every morning!

Dr Who was great! Dervla Kirwan was a fantastic villain. Although I did spot who David Morrissey really was fairly early on.

My pick for the new Doctor would have been John Simm, if he hadn't already played The Master. So many great actors have played parts in these last few seasons, I'm wondering who's left. I rewatched the Library episodes recently, and I thought I would have been a great twist if they'd left the ending more open and River Song (Alex Kingston) had turned out to be a future incarnation of the Doctor.

Thank you for the advent calendar. I've saved everything, but I haven't read it all yet. I really loved Show, Don't Tell. Very clever - and smut too!

She was good, wasn't she? I didn't recognise her at first!

As long as it's not Colin Firth, I'll be happy. :)

Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed it! Happy Boxing Day!

aarrgh, missed it?! I couldn't get online yesterday. Shame on you, not leaving a trail for the Boxing-Day Surfers! LOL
But thanks for the entertainment during Dec, it was an excellent production and has inspired me to do more posting through my blog in January *lol*.

Have a great holiday!

Lucius is a handsome kitty. It definitely looks like he's plotting something, though. (Which, I suppose, is appropriate.)

I wish I could get his wide-eyed face - but every time I point a camera at him he turns on the sex kitten look!!!
