I had to screencap this, because it’s so bloody rare I’m at the top of the pile! *goofy grinning*

And Alex is number two, too!

ETA: And it’s just been pointed out to me that I’m at number 90 in Historical Romance, and Alex is at 40 something – we’ve both crossed over! Woot!

Congratulations! Puts a lie to the argument that historical gay fic is not popular.

Thank you!

I've only heard that from agents and publishers, but as you can see, it's nonsense. A couple of days back, there were 9 gay historicals in the top 25.

Yours is at 71 and Alex's is at 77 now.

Also, here's a bunch of different translations of a poem about a writer and his cat. I think you might like it.

Aw how sweet! Just shows cats (and writers, happily procrastinating when he probably should have been transcribing a book for his Liege) don't change!

What a shame that gay-themed books don't sell. ;-D

I see they're available for pre-order at Indigo, as well.

Congratulations!

Darn those pesky gay books, eh? Growing dusty on those shelves....

All sorts of places, it's like Standish all over again, I remember how thrilled I was to find it on sale in peculiar places - but to see Trans on sale in places like whsmiths and tescos (online) is very scary.

:) Thank you sweetie!

Thank you, hun - I remember how thrilled I was when Standish made the top 100, but that was many months after its release - this is just gobsmacking.

Congratulations! It's very well deserved. My copy (amazon notified me, is on it's way to my house, which would be cool if I were there, dangit.) I can't wait to read it.

I hope you enjoy it, I haven't had my copies yet, but the "look inside" thingy on amazon shows that it's a pretty book!

I always enjoy your books, and I'm going to have my hubby bring it with him when he joins me here so I don't have to wait to get back from the Pacific Northwest to see it.
