Couldn’t be bothered to either dress up or shop yesterday so drove the 15 miles (30 miles round trip) to the McDonald’s drive in.  Only to return to find that Lucius is addicted to the fries and was rummaging through the empty bag to get out the three or four that inevitably drops out. When those were gone, he sat at my knee tapping me on the leg every time he wanted a new one.  I don’t think cats normally eat potatoes.

I have a trailer trash cat. He eats ANYTHING.

And there are dove feathers on the lawn this morning. I should have given him chips for breakfast.

One of my boys, Cyril, loves eating pumpkin, broccoli and corn cobs.

My very first cat was odd too, she would eat crisps and sprouts and chestnuts and corn on the cob. Very weird. I offered a chip to Severus and he went "hey! i'm a CAT. No Chips. Where's the fish?"

Isn't Lucius the same cat who goes whoring every 3 months or so and shows up weeks later expecting to be taken in AGAIN? I sure hope he isn't overweight because french fries (or potato chips as you call them) will be the death of him.:) Perhaps you can take him to McDonald's for breakfast next time.*g*

Yes, that's him - and Touch wood he hasn't been whoring since I've been at home all day, perhaps he was just human lonely?

No, he's (like his namesake) very slim and elegant - although any more chips he'll not stay that way for long!

He'd love their breakfasts.... but then, so do I...

Aha! THAT'S where Lucius has been truanting off to - he's gone to visit the McSnape who used to work there!

If it wasn't so far away, I'd imagine that's where he'd cleared off to, it seems a bit far to go for chips... But then, he was away for 3 months, so maybe...

Well, it's not just the chips, y'know... *waggles eyebrows suggestively*

Remember it takes time to brew that long-lasting polyjuice for animal transformations, particularly in the breaks between shifts. The slightest smidgen of grease actually *in* the potion will render it useless.

*laughs * It wouldn't surprise me!

You have a Carbo-Kitty!

There are some cats that will eat potatoes, bread etc like it's going out of style.

If I'm not careful, Barefoot will snatch fries out of my hand; she's my goat kitty. I think sometimes they'll eat things just because they're there, you know?

Yes, with Lucius part of it is "you are eating it, so it must be nice."

I agree, but it's not always that way with pets; one of our family dogs once ate rat poison—and survived the experience! Of course, what truly impressed me was that he lapped up the hydrogen peroxide that the vet instructed us to give him to make him bring the poison up. *rolls eyes at goat!dog*
