Swans and Eggs
Jun. 21st, 2009 06:32 pmI’m wavering buying Ludwig II book one and two on Amazon. They aren’t cheap – about £10 but I’m seduced by the pretty… He was such a good looking young man. It’s a story so full of romance and love letters and passion and madness and swans that I’m surprised no-one’s tackled it in gay historical romance already – but then it does surprise me that there are so few true stories being put into gay historicals when there’s such a wealth of homosexual relationships through history. I suppose it’s because they generally don’t end happily, and Ludwig’s story is certainly a case in point. I admit that the Ludwig story does appeal to me, so perhaps if no-one’s done it in a year or two, I’ll give it a go. Perhaps I’m just the mad person to tackle it, being full of romance and letters and passion and madness and swans. Ok. Perhaps not swans.
I’ve just finished Season two of Chuck. I decided I couldn’t wait and watch it weekly, the internet has made me too impatient for that. So now I don’t have anything to watch – any suggestions? Please?
It’s summer and there are summer eggs!
